A young man who experienced temporary blindness as a child reflects on the life of his father, who is totally blind. Beautifully done, and despite the fact that the credits are about a third of the length of the whole video, even they are fairly creative.

Demo video of new conceptual game ‘levelHead’ by Julian Oliver. Using tilt motions, the player moves a character through rooms that appear inside one of several cubes on a table. Each room is logically connected by a series of doors, though some doors lead nowhere (traps). The player has 2 minutes to find the exit of each cube, leading the character into the entrance of the next. Work is also being done to use invisible markers such that the cube itself appears entirely white to the naked eye. Project page: julianoliver.com/levelhead

Watch a mesmerizing continuous morphing of some of the most recognizable female faces over the past half-millenium. While I wish they’d paused just a fraction of a second longer on each individual facce, the feeling is possibly more hypnotic with the continuous flow. It’s certainly fascinating to watch the development of current conceptions of beauty over the years.

From South Korea, these are boys cheering for their soccer teams. But this isn’t done (as in the States) by holding up cards, this is done using the colors of the clothes they are wearing. So far, they’ve figured out how to do it with four different colors (front jacket, back jacket, shirt and pants). This is absolutely mind-blowing to watch…and it goes on for 5 minutes. Amazingly precise!
