Possibly the strongest song from the powerful musical Jesus Christ Superstar by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber. Ted, who portrayed Jesus in the 1973 film of the musical, really delivers an emotional performance on Leno’s Tonight Show. He began playing the role in the early Seventies and is finally retiring from it 35 years later.
