One of the most unique (and often imitated) singers in pop/rock music over the past 30 years. Michael McDonald took over the lead vocal responsibilities of the Doobie Brothers for several years after serving as a studio vocalist for Steely Dan on many of their greatest hits. This video contains clips from the 1986 film “Running Scared”, starring Billy Crystal and the late Gregory Hines. McDonald’s voice sounds as great as ever on this song.
