Larry is one of the most skilled, versatile and influential guitarists of the last 40 years. He made his mark as a guitarist with the Crusaders, then went on to serve as an arranger and studio player for Steely Dan, Mike Post (Theme from “Hill Street Blues”) and many, many others. He’s an accomplished solo artist as well, with many albums of his own. Although this video is nearly unwatchable for some reason, it’s worth seeing what a tight band he assembled for the Eric Clapton Crossroads Guitar Festival. Larry played the guitar on Steely Dan’s huge hit, “Josie”. This is a very hot arrangement.
