    I’ve seen quite a few of these videos with Knopfler and Clapton together. I understand it was Erics tour and Mark just joined them for a few shows?

    Either way.. what a *cracking* combination. Knopfler doesn’t play straight blues as well as Clapton usually (mostly because his guitar tone isn’t quite “right” for it), but he’s great at doing his own thing… and together, it’s just heavenly.

    What I’d have given to have been able to attend those shows live :(
