Code Monkey, Anime Style
Jonathan Coulton is a superb singer/songwriter. But because he’s an indie artist (translation: no big label marketing budget…), watchable videos of his songs are few and far between. Because his music is available for mashups under the Creative Commons license, it tends to inspire some fun, creative efforts. The source video is adapted from an old anime movie called “Black Heaven”, and the mostly autobiographical “Code Monkey” is Jonathan’s best-known song to date (although I recommend Skullcrusher Mountain, When You Go, Seahorse and Summer’s Over even more highly). This video is skillfully adapted. Really nice stuff!
