This song propelled Chris Young to the top of the heap in the Nashville Star competition a couple years back. This is from the show, and therefore is a truncated version of the full song. It’s a beautiful composition, and he’s a very strong singer…even though it’s squarely in the country genre, the song and the performance are so strong that it’s crossed boundaries and connected with those who don’t generally find country appealing.
