Perito Moreno Glacier
Perito Moreno Glacier, in Argentina. It depicts a grandstand, where tourists, and visitors can watch the Glacier advancing down the hill, and a glacier icemelt stream from above, flowing through the Glaciers downhill trudge, creating an ice tunnel, which eventually melts and falls into the stream. It happens every four years like clockwork. Those in attendance clearly enjoyed themselves. Pretty amazing!

That was pretty sweet looking and I bet that the video doesn’t even really do the event justice. It would be really neat to see those massive chunks of ice crash down into the raging waters below like that in person.
March 15th, 2009 at 5:27 pmI think this is the same glacier that Al Gore used in his video as evided in his agenda. However, turns out the glacier isn’t actually receding and Al Gore lives off oil money.
March 18th, 2009 at 2:47 amthe glacier looks nice , in the summer the glacier is normaly frozen too? because you said only every 4 years the glacier melts.
March 23rd, 2009 at 10:07 amOh my god this must look awesome in real life! Imagine the noise out there. I gotta see it when it’s still standing there (it won’t be melting forever now will it?)
March 24th, 2009 at 7:34 amlooks so fantastic in the movie, how does it look then in real life? by the way was it cold there? i would wish to see something like this in natural.
March 24th, 2009 at 11:18 amAmazing! I like when people clap their hands at the falling of chunks of ice. It is really a spectacle of the forces of nature!
March 24th, 2009 at 11:43 amthe glacier looks fanastic, thank you for sharing the video with us, i want to see once an glacier like this in the natural. when is the next glacier melt there?
March 26th, 2009 at 5:29 amActually, it ruptures about every four to five years. No doubt, it’s a thing of beauty when that happens. I wonder when it would happen next.
May 13th, 2009 at 1:21 amI would so love to see something like this! Seems like a terrific sight – something we all should see at least once in our lives.
June 17th, 2009 at 6:15 amThanks to our terrible behaviour it probably won’t last long. It’s one of those things that we’re not thinking about while getting into the car instead of walking or throwing away another plastic bottle.
