Everyone wants to see space shuttle launch from as close as possible. This group goes even further and skydives with wingsuits at the time of launch to catch the space shuttle in air.

i watched some videos on youtube about wingsuits and it looks so cool , they fly so fast and can do so much. but to fly with an wingsuit you need atleast 200 jump and some theoretity hours before you can make your first wing suit fly.

April 3rd, 2009 at 1:56 amAmazing video. Though I feel a bit woozy from watching it, I would love to experience that!
April 6th, 2009 at 6:56 pmWow, this is truly unique. I’ve seen shuttle launches before and quite frankly, while I still am impressed with the courage of the astronauts and the ingenuity of the engineers, it gets old after your 3rd time. Unless it’s viewed from an as amazing a perspective as this.
April 7th, 2009 at 6:11 amThanks for the link, it’s really hard to find something original nowadays ..
Ha that’s amazing! Although I don’t know if it was that safe. I mean it is a space shuttle after all – if something goes wrong there will be a lot of problems for everyone.
April 17th, 2009 at 2:23 amI am surprised they were even allowed in the air. They usually don’t let any type of traffic up when this thing goes off.
April 22nd, 2009 at 1:29 pmReally it is an excited scene. It enthralled to me . Nice to see this posting.
May 10th, 2009 at 6:37 amI’d be affraid that in case something goes wrong I just might die. It wouldn’t be fun…
May 12th, 2009 at 1:24 amway too cool. if only they were nearer. but…. if they do, i think they would be shot down already
May 13th, 2009 at 11:31 amWow, that was really amazing. Love to do that too and fly in the sky! Nice video. Thanks for sharing this one!
May 15th, 2009 at 2:44 amThey are all quite clearly nutters! Great video, those wing suits obviously make a huge difference to the amount of time they’re in freefall.
May 28th, 2009 at 6:02 pmWow this is a nice space shuttle video. I never seen this so close like this. Thanks for sharing this video.
June 2nd, 2009 at 11:15 amI’d love to see something like that upclose. Don’t know why – it’d probably be just like in my childhood dreams.
June 4th, 2009 at 6:27 amHi,
June 12th, 2009 at 3:54 amIt is the great video. This is totally fearless.
Thanks for the sharing the information.
I could never take such a jump, I will probably restrict myself to sidelines of the launch center and enjoy the view with a pair of powerful binocular
June 22nd, 2009 at 8:09 amMay be taking things a little to far with sky diving for aerial views but hey, they’re thrill seekers i guess. There are some breathe-taking scenes though.
July 3rd, 2009 at 11:41 pmHoly shmokes, that’s some crazy stuff right there. I second the person who was astonished that any planes were even allowed to fly in the vicinity of the shuttle launch. It must be a crazy cool feeling to be able to fly just like a bird, like that. That’s one of my life ambitions to try that
