A Fistful Of Dollars: A Kiva Loan

We’ve been supporters of Kiva.org for quite some time. They provide microfinance loans to folks around the world who want to start or improve their business, but who lack the necessary funding. It’s an extremely cool idea, and it doesn’t take big money to get involved. This is worth watching.

I’m a big fan of Kiva. :) I love the idea of microfinancing, but taken to an individual donor level. I also like the idea of people making loans, as opposed to donations.

That is a very noble cause to support worthy businesses that don’t necessarily have the money to get started. I applaud anyone who supports this.

I love their work. It’s like you know, give a man a fish vs teach him how to fish. Those microloans will help a lot of communities.
