“The Song of Seikilos” is about 2000 years old…and it’s the oldest complete, unambiguous song in existence today. It has a haunting beauty, which apparently was accompanied by these words:
“As long as you live,shine.
Let nothing grieve you beyond measure.
For life is short,and time will claim it’s tribute”
