Yes, Macropinna a deep-sea fish has transparent head and tubular eyes which we are able to see through her head, it’s amazing that we are able to see everything on her head. A Transparent head not only make her look fragile but also very vulnerable although she is not. Her big fins enable her to maintain balance and cruise in deep ocean waters. She is beautiful! Isn’t it?

Bioluminescent Siphonophore

While this appears to be a single, large organism, it’s actually a colony of numerous individual jellyfish-like animals that behave and function together as a single entity. The individual units, called zooids, all share the same genetic material and each perform a specialized role within the colony. The best-known siphonophore is the poisonous Portuguese Man o’ War. Some siphonophore species can grow up to 130 ft in length.
